I am sorry you are tres pissed, Flash. I hope it gets better.
Oh, and I don't know if yo saw my other post to your comment, but I would love to have you talk to Beloved about holding my purse :)I am sure you are a gentleman and I love you for it, i honestly do.
Ah, les Anglais et les Americains: two nations divided by a common language.
In the Etats-Unis, "I am pissed" means "Dear me, I am extremely angry." In the Royaume-Uni, "I am pissed" means "Whoops, I seem to have had rather a lot to drink." It's little differences like that which make life so interesting each side of L'Océan Atlantique.
Don't be ashamed, Alecya! Or, to counteract the shame, try and imagine an Englishman going into an American store and asking for some fags. That would be hella more embarrassing.

Or, you know, you could have said: "Je suis très enivré."
(Freetranslation.com is a useful website and no mistake.)

Why is anonymouse sad?
Anonymouse is the strangest critter.
AG - but see the subtleties are very interesting...because you, apparently, can be pissed off (angry) in Britain, too. Slang is so beautiful!
